1949 – 1974

Early Life & Pastoral Calling

Born on August 3, 1949, in Soosaiapparpatti near Paramakkudi to farmer parents Soosai and Periyanayagam. Growing up as the fifth child with five siblings, he completed middle school in Thiruvarangam and high school at St. Mary’s in Madurai. Guided by his aunt Sis. Karunamaram in Catholic faith, he entered St. Paul Seminary in Trichy (1964) and was ordained as a Catholic priest in 1974.

1974 – 1979

Carnatic Music & Divine Calling

Served as assistant parish priest in Sooraanam and later transferred to Srivilliputhur, where he learned Carnatic music—laying a strong musical foundation. In 1979, while serving in Saatharasanpatti, he faced severe illness, loneliness, and voidness. During this trial, he heard God’s voice: “Straighten your path. Did I call you for this purpose?” This turning point led to total surrender.

1983

Spiritual Anointing & Miracles

In 1983, he received the anointing of the Holy Spirit during a Power Camp conducted by Dr. D.G.S. Dhinakaran. Charismatic ministry began to flow powerfully through worship and prayers. Thousands gathered at Saatharasanpatti church campus; sick were healed, and new worship songs were birthed from his heart.

1990 – Present

Jebathottam & Song Evangelism

Released initial album Visuvaasa Geethangal. In 1990, founded Jebathottam Ministries at Periyanarikkottai with Sis. Lucilla. Birthed 37 volumes of Jebathotta Jeyageethangal (over 400 songs), blessing believers across Tamil Nadu and internationally.
